Nurturing people who can formulate better policies for the various issues confronting our society today
The Faculty of Policy Informatics aims to nurture people who can come up with ideas for solving the various problems arising from drastic changes in society and the environment. In all four courses, the students learn to adapt to today's changing environment, persevere in seeking solutions to problems, and propose practical policies.
The practical approach to problem-solving practiced by the Faculty of Policy Informatics was chosen as a significant learning method for two consecutive years by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Science & Technology, as "Gendai GP (Contemporary Good Practice)" in 2004 and as "Tokushoku GP (Specific Good Practice)" in 2005.
