26 minutes, and in this respect the legal system is completely outdated. In fact, technologically it is relatively easy to break anonymity and identify individuals by integrating multiple pieces of information. It also points out that applying such technology in inadequate circumstances could lead to false accusations against individuals. Fourth, there are seven points to discern online information that were featured in Fake Busters: "Dashi Iri Tamago." (Da) Who is saying it? (S) Is there a source? (I) When was it posted? (Ri) What opinions are there in the reply section? (Ta) Isn't the purpose to bash? (Ma) Let's reserve it for now. (Go) Have you checked the official information? It is a play on words, and I think this is (probably) a memorable slogan for the participants. Fifth, there is the issue of artificial intelligence (systems) and ethics. Regarding this, I will roughly explain the concept of artificial intelligence according to my commentary (Terano 2019). Then, I will show the characteristics of jobs that may be taken over by AI, and deal with the trolley problem in relation to self-driving technology. The trolley problem is a conflict-inducing decision-making problem in which one must save one person or five people by switching the points when a trolley goes out of control. Under normal circumstances, it is normal for someone to choose to save the five people, but if one of the people is oneself, the outcome is different. What would happen if you were the only person in an autonomous car and were about to hit five strangers? Who would develop the software or AI? In addition, the following topics are taken up in the discussion, with reference books specified. First, as virtual currencies such as Bitcoin become more widespread, the technical and ethical issues surrounding money and its management become important. Regarding this, (Naganuma 2020) vividly explains the relationship between blockchain technology and money after understanding the outline of modern economics, so the principles and methods of blockchain are introduced based on this text. Regarding digital identity, as a supplement to "So that you are you", we introduce the book "Digital Identity" (Sakimura 2021), which appropriately discusses the core of cyber business in companies and businesses. Regarding the relationship between artificial intelligence and ethics, I introduce "AI Ethics" by Coeckelbergh (Coeckelbergh 2020) and "Introduction to Ethics from Robots" by Kukita et al. (Kukita 2017). By the way, these two books were very helpful for me, who teaches classes but does not have much knowledge of ethics. In addition, "Neo-Human" by Scott-Morgan (Scott-Morgan 2021), which has been a hot topic recently, is also indispensable. The author has already published many excellent books as a management consultant and is openly gay. This is the story of how he developed ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and was diagnosed with only a few years left to live, which led him to try to turn his own body into a cyborg. After learning that the cause of death of ALS patients is malnutrition due to accidental ingestion and lack of food intake due to muscle weakness, the author removed his vocal cords and switched to a lifestyle of nutrition through a gastrostomy and artificial anus. Instead, he practices a near-future lifestyle in which he makes full use of ICT technology, virtually flies around the world, and gives lectures. This book is very helpful when thinking about information and ethics in the future. Seeking New Questions 5 This class will be graded based on the contents of the mini-reports assigned each time, as well as your impressions and questions about the class, and the final report (final exam in face-to-face classes before COVID-19). There are two report assignments: Assignment 1: Summarize your understanding of at least one concept that interested you in this lecture. Assignment 2: "Information and Ethics" is a new subject. There are no established Professor methods for it, and no suitable textbooks exist. If you were the instructor, what kind of questions would you give to the students for the final exam? Choose one or more possible questions and explain the reasons. For answers to Assignment 1, you can use the topics covered in the second half of the class, such as artificial intelligence, SNS, and business-related manga cases, as well as the 52 Special Feature: CUC's Ethics Education
