Sometimes things continue to change beyond what was previously accepted as common sense.
No matter how much times change, there are some things that must not be changed.
Chiba University of Commerce knows that both are true.

While upholding the founding spirit established 100 years ago,
As times change, together with students and their guardians,
Our education has been built together with local communities and businesses.

The ability to discern what is right without being swept away by the trends of the times.
The power to lead society in a better direction without being bound by selfish desires.
It is the mission of our university to nurture such sensible "chidoka."
I believe that this will be needed in society going forward.

In 2028, Chiba University of Commerce will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The aspirations of the school's founder, Dr. Ryukichi Endo, are now:
Over the course of 100 years, we have become "a university that society needs."
I'm sure that the challenges each of you will face starting on this campus will
