CUC Open Lecture 2023 7th "Overview of Digital Invoices and Electronic Bookkeeping Act (Electronic Transactions) and their Impact on Companies"
Chiba University of Commerce is offering the "CUC Open Lectures 2023" as part of its social contribution activities.
The invoice system (qualified invoice storage method) will start in October 2023. In addition, from January 2024, printed documents will no longer be accepted for data storage of electronic transactions under the Electronic Bookkeeping Act, and original electronic data storage will be mandatory.
Under the invoice system, there is a movement to use digital invoices (part of electronic invoices) instead of paper invoices, but this is subject to the Electronic Bookkeeping Act (electronic transactions), so it is important to bear this in mind.
In the 7th CUC Open Lecture, we will explain the background to the move towards digitalization and provide an overview of the Electronic Bookkeeping Act (electronic transactions). We will also talk about digital invoices as a form of digitalization in the invoice system, providing an overview of the system and the expected effects.
