For corporations
Corporations can use the "Designated Recipient Donation System" of the Japan Private School Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the Private School Corporation). This system allows companies and corporations to make donations to school corporations designated by the Private School Corporation in order to contribute to the development of education and research at private schools, and corporations that make donations are given preferential tax treatment (the entire amount of the donation can be included as a loss).
1. How to apply
- Complete the donation form
Please fill out the donation application form (Private School Foundation designated form 1-1 and University form 1-1) and send it by email to Chiba University of Commerce Accounting Department (hereinafter referred to as the University). The donation application form (Private School Foundation designated form 1-1) received will be sent to the Private School Foundation after the University has confirmed that the donation has been paid.Donation Application Form
- Transfer of donations
Please transfer your donation to the following bank account. Your donation will be transferred by our university to the Private School Foundation.

2. Regarding sending of donation receipts
After the Private School Foundation confirms the payment, it will issue a "donation receipt," which is necessary to receive tax benefits, and this will be sent to you by our university.
- Normally, it takes about one month for the Japan Private School Foundation to issue a donation receipt. However, please note that it may take up to two months during periods when many companies have their fiscal year endings.
- The date of receipt of the donation is the date on which the donation is deposited in the bank account designated by the Japan Private School Foundation. It is not the date on which the donation is deposited at the university. If you wish to deduct the donation as an expense during the accounting period, please consider the period for the procedure before making the transfer.
- There is a period of time between when the donation is made and when the Private School Foundation issues a donation receipt, so if you wish, our school will issue you a "receipt."
