What is a bequest?
The bequest donation system refers to the transfer of assets built up by alumni, faculty and staff, general philanthropists, etc., to specific individuals or organizations free of charge after inheritance, through a will.
How to make a bequest
Chiba Gakuen Educational Corporation has partnered with a trust bank to set up a bequest donation system for those who wish to contribute to the development of the school and the development of human resources through bequests.
By specifying a specific donation to our school in your will, your wishes can be realized. The contents of your consultation will be kept confidential. Please consider taking advantage of this service.
The procedure for making a bequest donation is as follows:
- We accept consultations regarding bequest donations at our school.
- Our school will introduce you to our affiliated trust banks.
- At the trust bank, specialized staff will provide advice regarding the creation of a will.
*Consultations regarding wills are free of charge, but the creation, storage and execution of a will will incur fees set by the trust bank. - The trust bank will store and manage the will.
- Once the trust bank receives notification of your death, it will execute the contents of your will.
- The trust bank will handle the bequest procedures to our school and the division of the estate to the heirs, etc.
