To prevent harassment
Harassment is an act that violates human dignity and personal rights, and also severely infringes on the rights of students, faculty, and staff to learn, conduct research, and work.
In accordance with the spirit of the Japanese Constitution, the Fundamental Act of Education, the Labor Standards Act, the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, and the Basic Act for a Gender-Equal Society, our school aims to respect basic human rights and create a society in which men and women participate equally. We guarantee that the human rights of all graduate students, pupils, faculty and staff members as individuals are respected and that they can study and carry out their duties in a comfortable environment free of harassment.
Harassment consultation process
- Our school takes a strict stance against harassment, and strives to improve the environment that does not involve gender discrimination or violates the personality or dignity of individuals, so that students can study and carry out their work in a comfortable environment. To that end, we have established an organizational structure and have taken various measures to prevent harassment and to respond when it does occur.
- Each member of the Academy must understand the importance of human rights and strive to respect the position of others, while also striving to avoid damaging human relationships or undermining human dignity through harassment.
- There are many reasons why harassment occurs, but in order to avoid it, it is necessary to always respect the other person's personality and think and act from the other person's perspective.
- Be aware that even if a certain behavior or speech does not seem harassing to Japanese people, it may be perceived as harassment by foreigners due to differences in social, cultural, or religious attitudes or values.
