1988年 | Research Center for Economics was established. |
2012年 | Research Center for Accounting was established. The Small and Medium Enterprise Research and Support Organization was established within Research Center for Economics. |
2023年 | Chiba University of Commerce CUC Research Institute was established. Ryukichi Endo Research Center was established. Established Research Center for Sustainability. |
2024年 | Research Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Management was established. |
CUC Research Institute Purpose
CUC Research Institute was established in 2023 with the aim of raising the level of academic research at Chiba University of Commerce and contributing to the sustainable development of society, economy, and culture in the local and international communities.
The Center currently houses five research institutes: Research Center for Economics, Research Center for Accounting, Ryukichi Endo Research Center, Research Center for Sustainability, and Research Center for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Management.
CUC Research Institute Project
In order to achieve its objectives, CUC Research Institute conducts the following activities:
- Selection, management and support of research projects
- Matters concerning the publication of journals and public announcement of research results
- Storage and utilization of research results
- Hosting symposiums, academic forums, research seminars, etc.
- Exchange of research information with domestic and overseas research institutes, and acceptance of researchers from each institute
- Matters concerning each research institute and its evaluation
- Other activities necessary for the operation of the research center
Each research institute business
The research institute established in CUC Research Institute carries out the following activities with the objectives of forming a base for research activities within the University, obtaining competitive external funding, and promoting research activities by the University's faculty and researchers.
- Research and investigation
- Publication of research results
- Planning and holding of research meetings, lectures, seminars, etc.
- Acceptance of research projects funded by commissioned research, donations, and scientific research grants
- Other activities necessary to achieve the Institute's objectives
