Small and Medium Enterprise Management Research Institute

Message from the Director

The value of small and medium-sized enterprises, including those that are considered "deemed large enterprises," is guaranteed because their values are respected. Hope for the future depends on the harmony between a belief in the "universality of values" and an accurate understanding of the "diversity of values."

The idea that a mistake in "what is valuable" and a mistake in "problem-solving as a means-ends nexus in pursuit of value" will lead to discord and failure has dominated various cultures throughout the ages. However, this does not mean that values do not change over time. The meaning of subjectivity and the meaning of labor change, too.

What role does our institute play in ensuring that business management is carried out skillfully in B2B and B2C? In order to ensure that business management does not become confined to standard mechanisms, we believe that a research project that has a deep interest in "nature and society" and models by verifying prior theories and constructing/constructing theories is necessary.

Small and Medium Enterprise Management Research Institute Purpose

The Small and Medium Enterprise Management Research Institute was established in April 2012 as the successor to the Small and Medium Enterprise Research and Support Organization, with the aim of promoting research into a wide range of issues relating to small and medium enterprises, including administrative policies, industry-government-academia collaboration, management issues, business succession, entrepreneurship, management analysis, and management support, based on the university's intellectual resources.
