[Finished] Kick-off Symposium "Toward Future Design Integrating Social Sciences"

Recent social and economic changes have been remarkable, such as the rapid advancement of technology and the penetration of SDGs. In order to provide a comprehensive social science environment where domestic and international researchers can tackle these issues across disciplines, our university has opened a new "CUC Research Institute" that integrates four research institutes: Research Center for Economics, Research Center for Accounting, Ryukichi Endo Research Center, and Research Center for Sustainability.
This symposium will focus on "designing a better future," and researchers from various fields will share their outlook for the future with guests.

In the first part, CUC Research Institute 's activities will be introduced, and Head of the newly established "Ryukichi Endo Research Center" and "Research Center for Sustainability" will give speeches on their projects and activities. In the second part, guests Kaoru Endo (Professor Emeritus, Gakushuin University) and Naoko Hamajima (Manager the Biodiversity Mainstreaming Office, Natural Environment Bureau, Ministry of the Environment) will be welcomed and will actively discuss the theme of the symposium as a whole, "Towards a future design that integrates social sciences," together with Head of each institute.
