Symposiums, training sessions, etc.

Since the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology included environmental education in the Modern GP in 2006, the number of universities working on ESD in the Modern GP has increased. The ESD in Higher Education (HESD) Forum was established to bring together these ESD-promoting universities and create a salon-like network for loose information exchange. Since the first forum was held at Iwate University in 2007, 16 forums have been held so far. This year, the forum will be held at Chiba University of Commerce Ichikawa Campus on Monday, September 23rd (national holiday), as shown below.
