Symposiums, training sessions, etc.

Research Center for Accounting holds training sessions once a year inviting accounting and tax experts as lecturers, open to anyone, not just students, teachers, and accounting experts.
The 11th seminar will be titled "IT Risks and Fraud Cases / DX and AI - The 2025 Cliff" and will feature Mr. Seiichi and Paulo Koike (Professor Graduate School of Accounting & Finance, Professional Degree Program, Chiba University of Commerce / Certified Public Accountant / Certified Information Systems Auditor / Certified Internal Auditor / Certified Fraud Examiner / Internal Control Assessment Instructor / Internal Audit Quality Assessor / Representative Director of the Yokohama National University Association of Accountants).
The "2025 Cliff" was raised as an issue in the 2018 DX report by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In practice, reliance on IT has increased due to the declining birthrate and aging population, and Covid19, and generative AI is also beginning to be introduced into business operations. As a result, there have been many cases of fraud and cyber incidents in which IT risks have become apparent. In this training session, we will discuss points that tax accountants, certified public accountants, and other people in leadership positions for management should know.
