Report on the 17th HESD Forum and the International Symposium on Sustainable Development and ESD (Japan-Vietnam International Symposium)
The 17th HESD Forum and International Symposium on Sustainable Development and ESD (hereafter referred to as the Japan-Vietnam International Symposium) were held at Chiba University of Commerce Building No. 1 on September 23 (National Holiday, Monday). The ESD in Higher Education (HESD) Forum was established with the aim of bringing together ESD-promoting universities and forming a salon-like network for loose information exchange. Since the first forum was held at Iwate University in 2007, 16 forums have been held to date, and this year's forum was held at our university.
On the same day, the Japan-Vietnam International Symposium was held as a joint event between our faculty and Vietnam National University, an affiliated school of our university, where research results were presented and discussions were deepened. Twelve guests from Vietnam National University and affiliated universities paid a courtesy visit to President, and our university presented them with original CUC gifts.
