Research on regional design of sustainable community policies based on social capital theory
We will question the impact of social capital formed in societies with strong homogeneity and heterogeneity, and from the perspective of social capital theory, we will work to elucidate the effects of positive and negative externalities that communities have on the achievement of collective goods, the mechanisms necessary to achieve desirable collective goods, and the conditions that determine the urban environment necessary for a "community where homogeneity and heterogeneity are in harmony."

The effects of sensory marketing using anthropomorphism on consumer judgment and behavior
In sensory marketing that utilizes anthropomorphism, we will clarify the conditions for anthropomorphism that will elicit a positive response from consumers, purchasing situations in which it can be utilized, and product categories in which it is effective to have a high level of anthropomorphism, and verify the feasibility of its utilization in society.

Comparative historical sociological study of the representation and transition of the view of labor

We will clarify how the current ChatGPT-based conversational LLM can be equipped with auditing expertise using APIs, and how it can be used for traditional or real-time audits.

Examination of the impact of AI-driven transformation of accounting and tax operations
We will investigate the possibility of replacing accounting and tax work with IT, mainly AI. We will clarify the tasks that cannot be replaced with IT, and clarify why they cannot be replaced, the challenges of replacement, or the necessity of humans in the work.

Building a foundational system for accounting information processing of non-financial and environmental information based on physical bookkeeping
With regard to corporate production management and environmental impact, we will expand the framework of corporate accounting information processing and clarify a framework for comprehensively recording the production of goods and services and environmental impact based on double-entry bookkeeping, and for utilizing this information within the organization.

Takayoshi Endo Research Project
On the 100th anniversary of the founding of our school, we will publish a definitive book (a booklet that can be considered the definitive edition) for students that compiles the achievements and accomplishments of Endo Takayoshi. The purpose of this research is to trace and re-examine Endo's achievements and accomplishments, and to document those that have not been reprinted or have no Japanese translation by reprinting them in type, or by providing Japanese translations and annotations. We will also collect materials on the history of the school.

This research aims to analyze and organize the definition and requirements of sustainability talent, as well as educational theories related to sustainability talent development, and to implement classes and courses designed based on the findings at our university or other schools.

Research into complex systems aimed at resolving traffic congestion
In response to serious issues such as traffic congestion in urban areas, we will conduct theoretical research by mathematically analyzing TASEP-LKF to clarify the time-dependent changes in traffic flow taking lane changes into account, and then conduct numerical calculations based on that to conduct research aimed at resolving traffic congestion.

This research aims to research and analyze the connections and differences between the ideas of Kato Hiroshi, former President Chiba University of Commerce, which centered on "freedom" and "independence," and the Enlightenment ideas of the Meiji period, and to place them in the history of ideas.
