At the start of the game, we blocked the opponent's attacks before they reached the goal, and the time when we did not give the opponent any chances continued. After that, as expected, the game developed into an attacking development, but occasionally we got to the goal from a counter attack and even shot, but we could not score a goal and the first half ended.
In the second half, each team understood what they had to do, and they held out with goalkeeper Shotaro Kobayashi (1st year, Faculty of Policy and Information Studies, from Kashiwa Municipal High School), and counterattacked with forward Yugo Fujita (4th year, Faculty of Service Innovation, from Chuo Gakuin High School). They also tried to score from set plays, but were unable to. In added time, the opponent pushed in a loose ball from a corner kick, conceding a goal on the last play, and the game ended.

Thank you for your continued support! This match was a close one with both teams attacking and being attacked, but I feel like we were able to play the game without giving up. There were some tough times where we got close to the goal but couldn't score. We are disappointed with the result this time as well, but we will clearly identify the issues we have learned from previous matches and approach the next match. We hope you will continue to support Chiba University of Commerce Soccer Club.
