Chiba University of Commerce Groundwater Membrane Filtration System
On June 10, 2009, we installed a system that produces drinking water by drilling a well 136 meters underground on the campus of our university and filtering groundwater through a membrane. Even if the power supply is cut off due to a disaster, the power generated by the university's private power generation equipment is enough to pump and filter groundwater, so it is expected to secure a water lifeline in an emergency.
