Message from President

宮崎緑学長

The world is currently undergoing rapid change. The main battlefield of activity is shifting from the real world to cyberspace, the dynamics of the international community are changing, and the domestic economy and political situation are extremely unstable. At this historical turning point, our mission is to develop attractive human resources who pursue happiness, live fulfilling lives, and whose lifestyles themselves will shape the times.
In the spirit of our founding about 100 years ago, we have defined this type of person as a "chidoka," a leader with a broad perspective, who can grasp the changes of the times, and who has a high sense of ethics to solve various social issues, and have nurtured them in line with the social situation of the time. To master AI, acquire the literacy to discern fake information, cultivate values, and view the world from a high perspective, we need an academic system that overlooks various fields, which cannot be achieved by traditional segmented vertical learning alone. In response to this, we have reorganized our faculties and departments and reconstructed our curriculum.
Think globally, act locally.
Let's weave the times together at the new CUC educational institution, where we will develop the skills necessary to continue to provide the talent that is needed "now" in the "future."
