During the third Diversity Week, a variety of events will be held for students, faculty and staff to provide an opportunity to re-examine diversity, covering themes such as global issues, disability support, gender and the work environment.

Prior to the symposium, we will hold a parasports experience session. On the day of the symposium, we will also hold a bread sale by "Fuwa Fuwa Bakery", which participated in Diversity Week 2022.

[Symposium] Discover, learn, and connect with the future through parasports
We will invite Director Tsuzuki from the NPO Origami to give a lecture on the activities of the para-travel program that our students also participate in. In addition, students from the School of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences' active learning program "Yume Tabi KAIGO!" will give a presentation on the boccia tournament held at the market, and there will be a discussion on how people can meet, understand, and connect through parasports, transcending the boundaries of whether they have a disability or not, and whether they support or receive support.

[Cross-cultural experience] Word Tour in CUC
Through a simulated overseas travel experience, students will look at the world, and through interactions with international students, they will become aware of diversity and deepen their understanding of it.

[Workshop] Disaster prevention and mitigation from a gender perspective & disaster prevention card game
We will think together about disaster prevention and mitigation measures to protect ourselves from disasters from a gender perspective, and update our disaster prevention knowledge using a disaster prevention card game.

[Lecture] Let's think about the "unconscious biases" around us. ~To become a university that is chosen~
"Unconscious bias" refers to distortions and biases in the way we see and perceive things that we are unaware of. On the day, we will talk about the relationship between gender gaps and unconscious bias at universities, and examples of initiatives at other universities. In the workshop, we will think together about "unconscious bias" that exists at universities and in everyday life.

[Collaboration Exhibition] "The Reality of Transgender" x "Recommended Books from the Affiliated Library"
The attached Library will host a panel exhibition of "The Reality of Being Transgender," a booklet that compiles frequently asked questions and life stories from transgender people, as well as an exhibition of recommended books on the themes of "Disability Support," "Global (Multicultural Coexistence)," "Gender," and "Workplace Environment."
