At our university, in order to realize our mission and objectives as an educational institution, we take responsibility for reviewing and evaluating our educational, research, and student support initiatives and their implementation systems. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring and improving the overall quality of the university through continuous improvement based on the results of these evaluations.
1. Self-inspection and evaluation activities
Based on the "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Regulations of the Chiba Gakuen School Corporation," the "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Committee of the Chiba Gakuen School Corporation" has been established as the umbrella organization for carrying out inspections and evaluations. In addition, based on the same regulations, the university has decided to "conduct self-inspections and evaluations every seven years and compile the results in a self-inspection and evaluation report," and has created its own "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Report" and made it publicly available.
2. Review and evaluation based on the medium-term management plan
Chiba University of Commerce Educational Strategy Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Educational Strategy Council"), chaired by President, is responsible for formulating, implementing, and reviewing the university's medium-term management plan. Ultimately, the Educational Corporation Chiba Gakuen Management Council, established under the Board of Director, is responsible for managing, reviewing, and evaluating the entire medium-term management plan.
3. Inspection and evaluation based on the assessment plan
Chiba University of Commerce Academic Affairs Council, established under the Educational Strategy Council, has formulated an assessment plan with the aim of ensuring the quality of education. It regularly reviews and evaluates initiatives based on three policies and their educational outcomes, and continuously improves educational activities.
Furthermore, some faculties have established an "Advisory Board," comprised of external experts, to enhance the objectivity and validity of self-assessment and evaluation, and to further improve the quality of education.
