In order to achieve its mission and objectives as an educational institution, our university takes responsibility for inspecting and evaluating the status of its educational and research activities, and strives to constantly and continuously ensure the quality of its education through self-improvement based on the results of such inspections and evaluations.
In addition, the university is responsible for inspecting and evaluating its education, research, and student support initiatives and systems based on its medium-term management plan, and strives to ensure the quality of the entire university on a constant and ongoing basis through self-improvement based on the results of its inspections and evaluations.
1. Self-inspection and evaluation activities
Based on the "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Regulations of the Chiba Gakuen School Corporation," the "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Committee of the Chiba Gakuen School Corporation" has been established as the umbrella organization for carrying out inspections and evaluations. In addition, based on the same regulations, the university has decided to "conduct self-inspections and evaluations every seven years and compile the results in a self-inspection and evaluation report," and has created its own "Self-Inspection and Evaluation Report" and made it publicly available.
2. Activities to ensure the quality of education
Chiba University of Commerce Education Reform Headquarters, which was established under the Board Director, has formulated an assessment policy. The assessment policy sets indicators for the efforts based on the three policies and their educational results, and periodically inspects and evaluates them to continuously improve educational activities.
3. Activities to ensure quality in business plans
Towards the 100th anniversary of the university's founding in 2028, the university has formulated "CUC Vision 100" as the direction the university should aim for, and has compiled a medium-term management plan as an action plan that includes themes to be focused on over the next five years under this vision. The formulation and promotion of the medium-term management plan is the responsibility of the "Chiba Gakuen Corporation Management Reform Headquarters" established under the Board of Director.
The Company strives to steadily implement the medium-term management plan by reviewing and evaluating the plan contents and progress each fiscal year, and making changes as necessary.
