Business Contents

We have established collaboration promotion committees for educational activities, student recruitment, career support, research activities, community support, and community management, and in cooperation with Ichikawa City and the Ichikawa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we carry out various projects, such as promoting Ichikawa City's policies and resolving issues, promoting local industries, developing human resources, supporting students' careers, and providing opportunities for lifelong learning and relearning for working adults.
In addition, the University Consortium Ichikawa Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Platform has formulated a grand design based on the "Grand Design for Higher Education Towards 2040 (Report)" (Central Council for Education, November 26, 2018), and is continuously discussing and reviewing it.

General Subject "Ichikawa Studies" (Intensive Course)

The common subjects "Ichikawa Studies I" and "Ichikawa Studies II" are classes jointly developed by the five universities participating in the Ichikawa University Consortium and are available to students enrolled at participating universities. These classes are offered as intensive courses with the aim of deepening understanding of Ichikawa city, including its history and culture. The course content is unique to the Ichikawa University Consortium, and includes classes by professors from other universities and on-site surveys mainly within Ichikawa city. Students can watch videos of the classes after the class has finished (e-learning system).

Lesson Video

  1. * Viewing of the class videos on this page is limited to students enrolled up to the 2020 academic year.
Please contact the administrative office of your university regarding your account and password.
  2. * Students enrolled in the 2021 academic year or later can view the lecture videos via the common e-learning system "Microsoft Teams" (team name: Ichikawa Manabu) or YouTube (limited access).

Credit transfer system

If you take credit-transferable courses at participating universities in the Ichikawa University Consortium and earn credits, the credits will be recognized as credits earned at our university. This allows you to take courses that are not available at your home university, broadening the scope of your learning. As a rule, there are no tuition fees (some courses require actual fees, so please check the application guidelines).
