For students interested in volunteering

The Community Collaboration Promotion Center provides various volunteer information from both inside and outside the university to students who are interested in volunteer activities. If you are interested in volunteering and have any questions, such as "I would like to participate in volunteer activities" or "What does volunteer work involve?", please feel free to come to the Community Collaboration Promotion Division. Why not take this opportunity to participate in volunteer activities?

Main Activities

  • Support for local events
    Ichikawa Environmental Fair (operating the event booth), election poll observer (operating the polling station in cooperation with the Ichikawa City Election Commission), and other volunteer work for local events.
  • Supporting children's activities
    Volunteering for the Stork Festival (running the festival at Konodai Elementary School), Children's Dream Shopping District (running events at a large shopping center), and other children's camps.
  • Other volunteer activities
    I♡Ai Festa (in cooperation with Ichikawa City, planning and running events related to welfare for people with disabilities), educational support for foreign children, volunteer work related to the local nature, and many more.

How to volunteer

  1. Find a volunteer to join
    Please access the "Volunteer Recruitment Information" page on the CUC PORTAL to check the volunteer information. Or, please check the volunteer information bulletin board in front of the Social Cooperation Promotion Division.

    Please check the recruitment details and application procedures, and apply following the steps described in the recruitment information.
  3. Submit a volunteer activity schedule sheet
    Once you have decided who you will be volunteering with, please submit an activity schedule sheet. The Social Cooperation Promotion Division will contact volunteers separately with details on how to submit the sheet.
    *If you are participating in disaster relief volunteer work, you will need to enroll in volunteer insurance.
    *Disaster relief volunteers are subsidized for their activities.

  5. Activity Report
    After completing your volunteer activities, please submit a "Student Volunteer Activity Report" to the Social Collaboration Promotion Division within one week. The Social Collaboration Promotion Division will contact volunteers separately with details on how to submit the report.

*Activity cost subsidy
If you participate in disaster relief volunteer work, we will provide you with volunteer insurance and transportation costs (actual cost).
