With the aim of growing into a university that meets the expectations of the local community, the Regional Collaboration Promotion Center has been holding the Regional Collaboration Promotion Conference (composed of representatives from the local industry, academia, government and private sectors) and the Regional Collaboration Forum every year in mid-February since 2010.
The Regional Collaboration Forum provides an opportunity to provide an overview of the Regional Collaboration Promotion Center's activities over the past year, as well as to hear valuable opinions from local residents and other stakeholders both inside and outside the university regarding the nature of regional collaboration, the university's mission, and the expectations and requests they have for the center.
The opinions and requests from the participants will of course be used to inform future measures, but they will also be used as valuable messages to deepen common understanding among stakeholders and local citizens about our university's community collaboration activities, with the aim of growing into a university that is looked up to by the local community.
