The CUC Civic Activities Support Program is a certificate program designed to provide those working for companies and organizations engaged in community businesses (businesses that provide services that cannot be solved by the government alone or that are not provided by existing companies) and community-based businesses with management and marketing knowledge and the skills to implement this knowledge that is applicable regardless of the location of their work.
The Certificate Program is a special course for non-students and working adults. Based on the School Education Act, students who complete a certain coherent learning program (Certificate Program) are issued a certificate.
In the "CUC Civic Activity Support Program," people who work in companies and organizations that run community businesses or community-based businesses, and people who are involved in civic activities and other local activities can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate their abilities and be active in the community. If students complete the seven-subject (61 hours and 25 minutes) program and receive a certain level of grades in each subject, they will be issued a certificate of completion and awarded the university's unique title of "Chiba University of Commerce Certified Civic Activity Enhancer."
In addition, this program has been certified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a "Vocational Practical Skills Development Program (BP)" as a practical, specialized course for re-learning aimed primarily at working adults.
