Alumni Student Grant

The Alumni Association Student Grant is a grant donated by the Alumni Association each year for the purpose of encouraging the "academic research" and "extracurricular activities" of undergraduate students.
Grants will be awarded to organizations or individuals who meet the following criteria after selection.

Alumni Scholarship Research (Presentation Contest)

overview A certificate and a prize will be awarded to those who have demonstrated originality and a high level of research, depending on the presentation of the research content.
Second Prize Grand Prize: 1 piece, 50,000 yen scholarship
Excellence Award: 1 piece, scholarship of 30,000 yen
Encouragement Award 3 pieces 10,000 yen scholarship
Presentation Grand Prize: 1 piece, 30,000 yen scholarship
Participation prize: 5,000 yen QUO card
Eligibility This program is open only to undergraduate students of this university, and the research content must be approved by the supervising professor.
*One piece per individual or group, with no restrictions on the theme (research themes from classes, seminars, etc. are also acceptable).

Screening Method The presentation will be a presentation (within 10 minutes per topic).

Alumni Association Extracurricular Activities Special Grant

overview When undergraduate students participate in a tournament at a national level or higher, full or partial support for travel and accommodation costs will be provided to individuals or groups.
(This does not apply if separate financial assistance is received from affiliated organizations, etc.) However, accommodation costs do not apply to areas near Tokyo.
Eligibility

The applicant must meet any of the following criteria 1 to 3.

  1. It must be a tournament of a national scale or higher, in which participants must have passed through preliminary rounds at a regional tournament or other such competition.
    However, this also applies to national or higher-level competitions in which participants participate by breaking the participation standard record or being selected by affiliated organizations, etc. In addition, it is not limited to competitions sponsored by student federations, etc.
  2. In the case of a national or larger tournament where participation is not through preliminary rounds, etc., Student Affairs Division Committee will make the decision.
  3. Other competitions approved by the Student Affairs Division Committee
Eligibility

Assistance will be provided to those who fall under any of the following categories, up to three times per fiscal year.

  1. In the case of individual participation, only those who have been entered in a tournament etc. are eligible to participate.
  2. In the case of group participation, subsidies will be paid for the minimum number of people required for the tournament, etc. The minimum number of people required will be determined by Student Affairs Division Committee.
  3. Others approved by the Student Affairs Division Committee
Amount of payment The total amount per person per application is capped at 50,000 yen.
Documents to be submitted
  1. Application for special support grant for alumni association extracurricular activities (within two weeks after the end of the tournament)
  2. Documents verifying your participation in the event (event program, etc.)
  3. If overnight stay is required, a receipt for accommodation etc.
  4. Submit the "Game/Event Participation Notification" in advance
  5. After the tournament, a "Match and Event Results Report" must be submitted.
examination After screening, the organization to which the grant will be given and the amount will be determined.
