The scholarship will be awarded to current students in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at our university who meet the following criteria.
Faculty of Service Innovation
Benefit criteria and benefits
- The scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in Faculty of Service Innovation at our university who meet the following criteria:
- Students who pass the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bookkeeping Examination Level 3 will receive a one-time grant of 3,000 yen while enrolled.
- Those who take the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bookkeeping Examination Level 1 will be reimbursed for exam fees up to two times during their time at the university.
- Students who pass the Japan English Language Proficiency Test Level 2 will receive a one-time grant of 10,000 yen while enrolled in the school.
- Students who pass the tax accountant exam while enrolled will receive 20,000 yen for each subject they pass, with the maximum number of subjects for which they can receive the subsidy being four.
- In addition, if you take or pass a qualification examination that Faculty of Service Innovation deems worthy of support, we will provide you with examination fees or subsidies upon application. However, recipients of the Qualification Acquirer Support Subsidy Grant System are not eligible for these grants.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

The scholarship will be awarded to current students in the Faculty of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at our university who meet the following criteria.
Faculty of Global Studies
Benefit criteria and benefits
- The scholarship will be awarded to current students in Faculty of Global Studies at our university who meet the following criteria.
- Those who have taken the HSK (Chinese Language Proficiency Test) will receive full payment for the exam fee, regardless of the level or number of times they have taken the exam (only applicable to exams taken in Japan). However, this only applies to exams taken in the third year.
- Students who take the TOEFL iBT exam will be provided with a one-time payment of 20,000 yen during their time at the university.
- Those who take the IELTS Academic Module will be provided with a one-time payment of 20,000 yen during their time at the university.
- * For items 2 and 3, you must have achieved a TOEIC® L&R score of 550 or above by the date of taking the test.
Student Awards System
In accordance with the regulations governing awards for students Chiba University of Commerce, the awards will be presented to students who have been recommended for their outstanding achievements in international, local, environmental, cultural, volunteer, physical education, and educational activities, after a prescribed screening process.
Individuals or groups who have achieved outstanding results during their time at the university worthy of the "Chiba University of Commerce Student Award" will be presented with a commemorative certificate, a bonus, and a gold student ID card.
