Credit transfer between private universities in Chiba Prefecture (including junior colleges) and the Open University of Japan
overview
This is a system that allows students from private universities in Chiba Prefecture (including junior colleges) and those participating in the Comprehensive Credit Transfer Agreement between the Open University of Japan and the University of Chiba to audit courses at other universities as special audit students that are not offered at their home university.
The contents of the agreement are as follows: (1) when a student wishes to take courses and earn credits at another university, the host university will accept the student as long as it does not interfere with education or research, (2) the accepted student will be treated as a "special audit student," and (3) the period of enrollment will be within one year. This agreement makes it possible to take a wide variety of courses, expanding the range of course choices, and allowing students to learn courses at other universities that are not offered at their home university, contributing to the enrichment and improvement of their academic knowledge. In addition, it is expected that each university will promote mutual exchange by offering distinctive courses, and develop to meet the needs of students.
Students who are interested should contact the relevant department at their university.
