Graduate School of Accounting & Finance, Professional Degree Program aims to train highly specialized professionals in the fields of "accounting, taxation" and "finance." In order to effectively achieve this educational goal, we have set up three courses: "Accounting Profession Course," "Tax Profession Course," and "Finance Profession Course."
Accounting Professional Course
Certified Public Accounting Short Answer Exam Subject Exemption + Tax Accountant Exam Subject Exemption (Accounting)
The completion requirements for each course emphasize accounting and auditing subjects in finance and management, and students are taught the essence of Japanese accounting and auditing in a systematic manner, from basics to advanced, applied and practical, while also complying with IFRS.
With a wide range of subjects and practitioner faculty, you will develop the ability to improve your understanding of corporate accounting practices.
In addition, students writing master's theses will be required to take face-to-face research guidance from their first year, and students not writing master's theses will be required to take face-to-face seminar courses in the spring and fall semesters of their first year.
Accounting Professional Course
Tax Professional Course
Tax Accountant Examination Subject Exemption (Tax Law) + Certified Public Accountant Short Answer Examination Subject Exemption
While placing emphasis on tax law subjects in the course completion requirements, students will also be trained to become tax professionals through a wide range of comprehensive learning.
In essay writing, experienced instructors will guide students to a level where they can submit their essay to the National Tax Council. In the process of analyzing and exploring numerous legal precedents and theories and completing the essay, students will not only be exempt from certain subjects in the tax accountant exam, but will also acquire accurate judgment and problem-solving skills in the workplace.
In the Tax Professional Course, research guidance is provided via distance learning (online classes), and depending on how the timetable is arranged, it is possible to complete all of the courses required for graduation through distance learning (online classes). Students will need to come to the Ichikawa Campus for guidance on their master's thesis and final exams, including in-person classes in their first and second years. If you wish to receive distance learning (online classes) for research guidance, please apply at the time of application.
