Curriculum Policy (Policy for organizing and implementing the curriculum)
In order to develop researchers and highly specialized professionals in the field of commerce, students study mainly three fields: commerce, business administration, and accounting. We have established an education and research system that allows students to effectively acquire knowledge in related fields as well as their own major fields, and have organized the following curriculum.
- Students will select courses (major courses) that are directly related to the writing of their master's thesis or a specific project, as well as courses in other fields that are suited to their own career path and research theme.
- A supervisor in the student's chosen field (commerce, business administration, accounting) will provide comprehensive guidance, taking into consideration the direction of research, research results, student capabilities, and specific benefits after completion. However, in order to develop their research, the supervisor will guide and nurture students to conduct independent research, such as literature surveys, problem setting, field surveys, and data analysis.
- Students write master's theses or tackle specific issues while considering specific contemporary needs. To this end, they make interim presentations once in their second year with the participation of faculty members, who provide advice from multiple and multifaceted perspectives.
