Ryoko Ishii
(Nakamura High School graduate)
It took about three months to create 20 pieces, including tanka poems, manga, and scenarios, each tailored to five characters. The system mimics the exit button on a local bus, allowing the reader to choose the order in which to read and when to stop, and the visuals change gradually. I would like to use this production to continue exploring ways to deliver stories that incorporate experience design.
"CUC Campus Mystery Solving"
Ai Nawada Kano
(Graduated from Matsudo Municipal High School)
We created a campus-based puzzle that allows new students to learn about campus facilities in a fun way. We researched permanent facilities on campus to ensure there were no misunderstandings or contradictions in the puzzle design, and came up with a puzzle that could be solved over time. By incorporating a system that relies on observation and inspiration rather than knowledge to solve the puzzle, and by using LINE to provide hints, we aimed to create a design that even first-time students could enjoy without being bound by time.
"Yabukaraboupond (Music Video)"
Kei Takahashi
(Wakamatsu High School graduate)
We are a band formed with members of the light music club, and we write and distribute original songs. As a culmination of our band activities and video studies, we created a music video that was intense in its sound and visual noise expression. We had a hard time filming while performing, but we particularly like the chorus in the second half, which expresses our usual style.
"Change as you walk - Shikoku Pilgrimage Journey"
Kazuki Miyata
(Mizuki High School graduate)
After losing my goal and becoming physically and mentally unstable, I decided to take the plunge and embark on the Shikoku Pilgrimage to see how travel can change people. I had no confidence in my physical strength or communication skills, but I traveled to 88 places (approximately 1,200 km), met many different people every day, and have compiled this account of the process of change I went through. I hope that those who are struggling will realize that it's okay to stray from the path or take a detour.
