Develop the comprehensive skills required for business people
By participating in business contests sponsored by companies, students will be exposed to real business challenges and will be able to develop practical and attractive proposals to address them, thereby enhancing the overall abilities required of business people.
Specifically, students first acquire business knowledge by analyzing the industry and business models, then acquire the research and logical thinking skills necessary for making proposals, as well as presentation skills to clearly communicate their arguments to others. They then develop communication skills through interactions with peers from different seminars and year groups, and participate in two competitions each year.
In fiscal 2019, the team participated in the "Problem-Solving Project_Season 2" sponsored by Mynavi Inc., and in response to the theme "Propose a system for young people to purchase DHC products through mail order sales" set by theme provider DHC Inc., each team conducted a questionnaire survey, compiled the contents of their proposal, and prepared materials for submission over a period of 2-3 months. Three teams entered the contest, and all three teams won prizes out of the many applications.
