Our university will provide tuition support to students who are financially disadvantaged, but who are determined to be motivated and able to continue their studies.
Those who wish to receive support should carefully read the following information and apply to Graduate School Division.
1. Eligible Participants
Eligibility for this system is limited to students enrolled in any graduate school (excluding international students) who meet all of the following financial and academic standards.
- (1) Economic situation criteria
- Those who are having difficulty studying due to financial reasons such as a sudden change in their household income
- Those who are deemed to have the motivation to study and are capable of continuing their studies, or those who are expected to complete their studies and are deemed capable of contributing to society.
- (2) Academic performance standards
Students must have earned credits in the previous semester that meet the following academic performance standards. However, this does not apply if students have earned a number of credits that far exceed the academic performance standards, or if they have earned the number of credits required to graduate. In addition, students cannot apply for the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant Registration Training Course in their first year.

2. Continuation application
There is no limit to the number of times that a student can receive grant support if he or she is eligible. However, if a student who received grant support in the previous semester applies for continuation, the following conditions must be met:
- (1) Master's and Doctoral Programs: Determined by the graduate school to which the student belongs.
- (2) Professional degree programs: A GPA of 2.5 or higher for the relevant semester.
3. Ineligibility
- (1) Those who have completed the standard period of study (four semesters or more for master's and professional degree programs, and six semesters or more for doctoral programs)
- (2) Those who have received disciplinary action under the university regulations
4. Benefit amount
In principle, the maximum amount is three months' worth of tuition fees for the relevant semester as stipulated in the university regulations.
5. Application Procedure
Please consult with Graduate School Division in advance, receive application forms 1 and 2, fill them in and stamp them, and then submit them together with document 3 by the deadline.

- (3) The most recent "Income Certificate" for the person and those sharing the household finances (parents, spouse, etc.) (copies are acceptable)
*If there are multiple household supporters, the most recent "Certificate of Income" for each supporter must also be submitted. - (4) Other (documents proving disabilities, long-term care recipients, damage from storms and floods, etc.)
6. Application and recruitment period
If you are applying for tuition assistance for the spring semester, the recruitment notice will be sent around April.
If you are applying for tuition assistance for the fall semester, the recruitment announcement will be made around September or October.

8. Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be selected based on a comprehensive assessment of the interview and application documents (including financial situation and academic performance criteria).
9. Notes
If a student who has received tuition support is found to fall under any of the following categories, the support will be cancelled and the student must immediately return the entire amount of the tuition support.
- (1) When a false application is made
- (2) When a decision is made to withdraw, be expelled, or transfer to another school
- (3) When disciplinary action is taken in accordance with the school regulations.
- (4) Any other conduct that is significantly contrary to the duties of a student.
