Class Introduction:Let's think about how to make the area where we live happy! "Regional Policy Theory"
As the threat of "regional extinction" due to population decline and other factors is being called for, there has been lively discussion about regional policies under the slogan "regional revitalization." Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, strengthening disaster prevention measures has been considered as a regional issue, but the problems facing regions have become extremely diverse, such as the decline of shopping districts and the emergence of shopping refugees. Regional policy theory is a class that allows students to understand such regional issues and consider measures to solve them. We will take up both success stories and failure stories from various regions and discuss them with you. Let's develop the ability to propose solutions to problems by ourselves based on a wealth of case studies.
The Regional Policy Course focuses on nurturing civil servants, but even if you don't become a civil servant, as taxpayers we all care about how our taxes are spent. Through this class, we hope that students will become "good policymakers" and "good citizens" and think about how to make the communities in which they live happier.
Civil service exam preparation to develop "civil service qualities"
In order to enable students to acquire the wide range of knowledge required for the civil service examination, we have prepared a curriculum that allows students to gradually learn the necessary knowledge from the fall semester of their first year to the fall semester of their third year.
In addition, we provide thorough support for your learning through a synergistic effect with our full-scale exam preparation courses.
