Acquire a balanced mix of skills, experience, and culture to survive in the global era

国際教養学部での学び方

In the first and second years, students focus on learning English, the common language of global business, or Chinese, with a view to expanding business with China, which is becoming the center of the world economy, and hone their language skills with an emphasis on speaking. Studying abroad is mandatory for all students in the second year. Students will deepen their learning through overseas experiences, which will lead to specialized studies from the third year onwards, with an eye towards their career direction. In addition, there is an emphasis on acquiring IT skills, which are accelerating the speed of globalization, and students will develop the ability to collect, edit, and disseminate information that flows around the world instantly.
Based on language skills, culture, and overseas experience, students will acquire the skills necessary for doing business with overseas countries in their third and fourth years. Through assignment-based exercises in collaboration with leading domestic companies with global operations, students will gain a hands-on experience of working in a global company, improving their business skills to a working adult level and becoming fully prepared to "work in the world," "work with the world," and "entertain the world."
