Profile and Achievements
In modern society, service is an essential element in all industries. In agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and manufacturing, the mission of companies is to realize customer happiness by providing excellent products and services. This idea of "realizing customer happiness" is the service mind, and it leads to the success of companies. Our Faculty of Service Innovation is the only faculty in Japan where you can learn service creation comprehensively, and provides a place to explore this service mind from three perspectives: "academic," "business," and "activity." In addition to theoretical learning, we will develop the ability to respond to various social issues through collaboration with companies and practical efforts. In addition, our educational philosophy is to cultivate "chidoka." chidoka is "a leader who has a big perspective, grasps the changes of the times, and solves social issues," which is a quality that is also required for service creation. Service is not just the pursuit of convenience, but an activity that focuses on the happiness of the entire society. Our faculty aims to cultivate a service mind and chidoka perspective through practical learning, and to cultivate human resources who will lead the times.
