Taking on the challenge of presenting in English at international technology and AI conferences

学生×海外

Students gave presentations at the world's largest technology conference, IEEE R10 HTC, held in Malaysia, and at Chonnam National University's AI program in South Korea. It was a valuable opportunity to share the knowledge of AI and what they learned through their research activities at Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration with society in English. By interacting with other researchers, students can broaden their international perspective and acquire communication skills.

I gained confidence in speaking English and became more motivated to study in my field of expertise.

I thought there wouldn't be many opportunities to attend an international conference, so I decided to give it a try. It was my first time giving a presentation in English, so I practiced with the advice of my professor, aiming to speak the whole time without looking at the script. I was nervous and forgot some parts of the content, but I was able to show the results of my practice, which gave me confidence. I was able to come into contact with research from around the world, learn about the potential of IT technology, and deepen my desire to learn.
