"THE UNIVERSITY LIVE～JAZZ～" was held

On Saturday, February 3rd, "THE UNIVERSITY LIVE ~JAZZ~" was held at the student cafeteria, "The University DINING." Approximately 250 people, mostly local residents, participated, spanning generations from young children to the elderly.

"The University LIVE" will be held for the fifth time since June 2016. This time, five talented young musicians active both in Japan and overseas, including young jazz vocalist Yurie Neura, who sang the insert song for Nippon Television's "Caution, Hazardous Wife," and Gibson Guitar Contest Grand Prize winner Hiroga Horie, captivated the audience with a diverse selection of songs ranging from jazz classics to jazz arrangements of pop songs.
The audience was filled with a sense of unity, and the applause continued even after the performance ended, and they performed two encore songs.
After the live performance ended, participants shared comments such as "I've become a fan!" and "I hope they hold this event again," and the venue was filled with people enjoying the happy afterglow.

"The University DINING" does not only provide meals, but is also used as a community space for local residents. On Saturday, March 31st, the third "Photo Rally in Ichikawa" will be held at "The University DINING". We will continue to use it as a place for local interaction, such as holding various events.
