Society/Community

August 17, 2018

[Starting in September 2018] Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Ichikawa City and is a high school student or older can take this course.

災害危機管理講座ちらしOur university will be offering a Disaster Crisis Management Course under a comprehensive agreement between Ichikawa City and Chiba University of Commerce.
The Disaster Risk Management Course aims to develop leaders who can make the best decisions and take the best actions when a disaster strikes nearby, and not only do students acquire knowledge about disaster prevention measures, but they also experience handling equipment and independently managing an evacuation shelter through workshops (experiential learning). They can also learn what the appropriate actions should be in an emergency.
In addition, the final session (6th session) will be an opportunity to answer questions about disaster prevention based on the pre-event questionnaire, and to share disaster prevention measures through group discussions. Please join us.
