Since 2018, Career Support Center has been honoring alumni who have worked for CUC Alliance companies after graduating from the university as the "OB/OG OF THE YEAR." The first awards ceremony was held at the 14th CUC Alliance Corporate Forum on Thursday, November 29, 2018, and after a rigorous screening process, six alumni were selected. The award recipients shared their valuable insights for both companies and students, such as "How they are putting their learning at Chiba University of Commerce to use in their actual work."
The award-winning alumni will be introduced in a special corner at the entrance to Career Support Center (Main Building, 2nd floor) until around April 2019.

He has achieved results that rank in the top 4% of about 3,000 people at 31 sales companies nationwide for three consecutive years, and with high expectations for his future, he also participated in business training held overseas by Fuji Xerox. He conducted large-scale business negotiations at multiple locations for major companies, and was so successful that he was introduced nationwide as a success story. He is currently working hard as a representative for a super-large company, on a reverse transfer from the sales company to the parent company (Fuji Xerox), which is rare for a sales company.

After joining the company, she was expected to establish a public relations department as she had hoped, and as the sole public relations officer, she has implemented many new PR initiatives since her first year at the company. She collaborates with moms who want to use their skills and qualifications to interact with the local community, and regularly holds mom events at the company's showroom. In his second year at the company, he was appointed assistant manager of the Kichijoji store, which had the highest sales in the country at the time. He was promoted to manager in his third year, and was appointed manager of the same store in his fifth year. He then served as a supervisor with cumulative annual sales of over 5 billion yen, and an education and development manager, before assuming his current position in 2015. He was the fastest of those who joined the company at the same time to be promoted to a manager. In a department directly under the chairman, he is entrusted with not only in-house education, but also human resource training, development, and recruitment, and is working hard to become the drugstore that is most supported by customers in an increasingly competitive industry!

From 2001 ~ 2017, we have achieved the feat of receiving the Excellence Award of the Year from Toyota Motor Corporation for 8 consecutive years and 11 times. The "Excellence Award of the Year," which is a manufacturer award, is a dream of Toyota's sales staff, and it is not something that can be won simply by selling a lot of cars. There are comprehensive criteria such as obtaining insurance and the number of vehicles inspected. We would like to recommend your school alumni who have been leading our company for many years as "OF THE YEAR".
