Create business ideas based on your own desires! Students learn everything from planning to business conception

As part of the career education for current students, Faculty of Global Studies is holding a workshop to generate business ideas, with Shinpei Takahashi, CEO of Usagi Co., Ltd., as the lecturer.

In recent years, the globalization of business has progressed rapidly in every company, while at the same time, nurturing human resources who can respond to that globalization has become an important issue. When considering global expansion, it is necessary to consider business expansion that suits the needs of each country, as each country has different cultures, preferences, lifestyles, and natural environments. Faculty of Global Studies, which aims to cultivate global human resources, hopes that through this workshop, students will acquire practical skills as business people who can be active on the international stage.

In this workshop, taught by a professional product planner who has created a hit product, students will learn how to create and select ideas based on their own desires, the basics of business, such as creating and selling products, services, and businesses, and how to plan and propose projects. Furthermore, through the class, students will have the opportunity to think again about the job they want to have in the future.

In the final workshop, where participants will present their project proposals, people in charge of new business ventures from companies will serve as judges.
Look forward to watching students learn the fundamentals of business through planning and take on the challenge of presenting their project proposals in front of professionals.

Lecturer Introduction

Mr. Shinpei Takahashi
CEO of Usagi Co., Ltd. Toy developer and creator. Graduated from Tohoku University Graduate School. Joined Bandai Co., Ltd. Involved in the development of many popular products, including the worldwide hit "Infinite Bubble Wrap." He went independent in 2014 and is currently involved in the development of new products and services in collaboration with companies and local governments, and is active in a wide range of fields, including game and quiz production, writing, and lectures.
