Kutsuki Seminar (Research theme: Research and production of local history, culture, and folklore)
Under the guidance of Professor Kutsuki Ryo (specializing in material culture research, cultural anthropology, folklore, and archaeology), the school is working to understand the diversity and uniqueness of the area surrounding the university while tracing traces of culture, and disseminating this knowledge to the outside world. To date, the school has promoted the charms of Ichikawa through the publication of "Nakayama Sando Dot Konmu" (issues 1-3), which introduces the area around Nakayama Hokekyoji Temple in Ichikawa City, and "Ichikawa Sasomi-ki," which introduces the area around Konodai Station. "Ichikawa Musee Street Walk" was produced by 19 second- and third-year students as part of its activities in 2016.
