メタバース・フェスティバル

From June 20th to 27th, we held our first on-campus job hunting event, the Metaverse Festival, which utilized a three-dimensional virtual space.

The event was aimed at all first to third year undergraduate students and aimed to expose them to information on various industries and companies, deepen their industry research, and increase their motivation for job hunting for internships and open companies. It was held using the smartphone app "Job Hunting Hiroba" operated by X Corporation.

On the day of the event, 81 companies, including CUC Alliance companies, exhibited at their booths. 141 students participated using avatars they created themselves, and moved freely around the exhibition hall, browsing company documents and introductory videos.
Even students who were unable to attend the face-to-face event (1,377 students participated) due to lectures, etc. were able to easily gather information on the application, and many students continued preparing for summer internships and other opportunities.

Student comments

  • I was able to visit companies that I was not able to visit at face-to-face job hunting events.
  • You can easily gather information about companies and even apply to companies that interest you on the day.
  • Within the metaverse space, each company's booth was clearly displayed, making it easy to get around.
