On January 28th, eight third-year students from the seminar of Associate Professor of Faculty of Service Innovation were requested by Diamond Dining Co., Ltd., a company that operates food and entertainment businesses throughout the country, to come up with "measures to attract young people." In response, they collaborated on a public viewing event for a B.League Chiba Jets official game at the Bagus Funabashi store.

Although Bagus Funabashi store had held two public viewing events for the local Chiba Jets official games, they had been struggling to attract repeat customers and younger generations. Therefore, they consulted with Yokoyama Seminar, which is researching "improving the value of services" using ICT and data and includes several students with experience in managing Chiba Jets Match Day events.

In preparation for the day, the students opened an Instagram account for Bagus Funabashi and distributed flyers at the Chiba Jets Match Day held in December. On the day of the event, they came up with ideas for a darts game at halftime, a raffle, and original drinks inspired by the Chiba Jets, so that everyone, including the Chiba Jets' boosters (fans), could enjoy darts and food and drink, and they enlivened the event.
We plan to continue using survey data and social media to provide support in attracting young people.
