To all new students
- (1) It will be very crowded just before the start of the event. Please make sure you enter with plenty of time.
- (2) There is no dress code, but most new students wear suits every year. Indoor shoes are not required.
- (3) Student ID cards will be distributed as follows:
- Students from Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Policy and Information Studies, Faculty of Service Innovation, and Faculty of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Date and time: Saturday, April 6th, 12:00-13:00 (Entry to the venue begins at 12:45)
Location: Gymnasium 1st floor - Students of Faculty of Global Studies
They will be distributed in the classroom during the guidance session on Thursday, April 4th.

To all family members
Up to two family members per new student will be allowed into the ceremony venue.
Due to limited seating, if you are unable to enter the ceremony venue (gymnasium), we will guide you to the live streaming venue (another venue).
Information session for new students and parents

At this information session, we will explain how to use the "CUC Parent Handbook", which summarizes university life, and introduce the "Parent LINE" service, which provides parents with timely information that will be useful to them.
Welcome party for new members of the Education Support Association and parent-teacher meeting for new students
14:30-16:00 (tentative) Venue: The University DINING
Chiba University of Commerce Education Support Association (an association for current students' parents) will be hosting a "Welcome Party for New Members of the Education Support Association and a New Student Parents' Meeting" for parents of new students. The Education Support Association is an organization made up of current students' parents whose purpose is to strengthen ties between the university and parents to make student life more meaningful, and to support the university's educational programs and various student activities.
This event is aimed at deepening your understanding of the Education Support Association and the university, and deepening friendships with faculty members. We will also be providing information on student activities and light meals. This is a program where you can enter and leave as you please, so please come and join us.
*New students are also welcome to participate in this event.
