Our university has established the following measures for canceling classes due to the suspension of public transportation services. If the following criteria are met, face-to-face classes will be canceled. *Remote classes will be held.
Any class cancellations due to public transport suspensions will be announced on our university website, so please check for details.
Class time standard (on the day)
[Applicable routes]
Sobu Line (between Akihabara and Chiba), Sobu Rapid Line (between Tokyo and Chiba), Joban Line (between Ueno and Toride), Keisei Line (between Ueno and Keisei Narita), Hokuso Line (between Takasago and Inba Nihon University)
[Circumstances for class cancellation]
- If all of the above lines are out of service (excluding temporary suspensions) as of 6:00 a.m., morning face-to-face classes will be canceled.
- If all of the above lines are out of service (excluding temporary suspensions) as of 9:00 a.m., afternoon face-to-face classes will be canceled.
Exceptions (other than the above)
- Regardless of the class time, if a sudden deterioration in weather or other reasons is predicted to cause the situation described in "Class Time Standards (On the Day)" to occur, we may take immediate measures to cancel all face-to-face classes thereafter.
- If the weather forecast for the next day predicts that the conditions will be as "class time standard (on that day)" as of 3:00 p.m. the previous day, a decision may be made in advance to cancel classes for the next day.
In any of the above cases, the latest information will be posted on our university website.
