The name of our university has been listed in the book "The Dictator" (authors: Koga Shigeaki and Mochizuki Isoko) published by KK Bestsellers in a false light.

The legal entity of Chiba University of Commerce is Chiba Gakuen School Corporation (Chairman of the Board: Harada Yoshinaka).
The fact that the publication of this book caused serious misunderstanding among readers is inaccurate as a book and severely damages the credibility and reputation of our university, and is something that cannot be overlooked.

Chiba University of Commerce, part of the Chiba Gakuen Educational Institution, is a university that aims to cultivate chidoka who are "highly ethical, who can see the big picture, grasp the changes of the times, and solve various social issues."

It is absolutely unacceptable that such a serious error would cause inconvenience to current students, prospective students, alumni, and those connected to our university. We ask that readers of this book not misinterpret the information.
