Opening ceremony for "Teaching Internship" under high school-university partnership agreement with Funabashi Municipal High School was held

The opening ceremony for the teaching internship was held at Funabashi Municipal High School on Thursday, September 21st. The teaching internship began in 2015 when the university signed a high school-university partnership agreement with Funabashi Municipal High School, and this year marks the third year.
From October 2 (Mon) to December 1 (Fri), 14 third and fourth year students from the department who are aiming to become Commerce Course teachers will be participating in classes as assistant subject instructors and supporting high school students under the guidance of the teacher in charge of the classes. The students will accompany the teacher in charge of the classes and develop a career and work ethic by experiencing actual work at a high school.
At the opening ceremony, Principal of Funabashi Municipal High School, Kazuhide Akaguma, gave a lecture on business education and what he will need to know to teach high school students in the future as a teacher.
Participant Kamoda Reina, a student in Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration Department of Commerce, said, "I think this will be a good opportunity to learn about a teacher's job before my teaching practice. I would like to learn more by actually experiencing a teacher's job." Suzuki Tatsunosuke, also from Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Commerce Department of Commerce, shared his enthusiasm, saying, "I would like to learn not only how to conduct classes, but also how to communicate with high school students outside of class time."
