Overseas program flow and application method

1. Attend the recruitment information session You can hear about the significance of the training, the contents of the program, the process leading up to your trip, and the experiences of past participants. Attending the information session is not mandatory, but if you are considering participating, please attend. If you cannot attend the information session, please come directly to International Division.
Information sessions will be announced on the CUC PORTAL, on-campus bulletin boards, posters, etc.
*In the case of exchange students, there will be no information session, so please contact International Division directly.
2. Application Please submit your documents by the application deadline.
Your application will not be accepted if the documents are incomplete, so please start preparing as early as possible.
3. Interview Depending on the program, the interview will take about 15 minutes per person.
The interview will generally be conducted in the language used at the training site, so be sure to prepare thoroughly in advance.
4. Dispatch decision The recipients will be selected based on the submitted documents, academic performance, and an interview.
*If you are an exchange student, you will then receive admission permission from the host university and be finalized as an exchange student.
5. Orientation (several times) We will hold several orientation sessions, including with travel agencies.
We will also explain the procedures, preparations, and safety measures required for the program, so please feel free to ask any questions or resolve any concerns you may have.
6.Pre-training Please follow the learning methods suggested by International Division.
*If you are an exchange student, you will receive advance training according to your level.
7. Language Proficiency Tests (TOEIC, HSK, TOPIK, etc.) In order to determine your language level before your placement, you will take a language proficiency test in the language to be used at your training location.
8.Social gathering We will hold a social gathering with past participants, who will be able to answer questions that only experienced participants can answer.
9. Departure Let's get started! Let's make it a fun and fulfilling program.
10. Returning to Japan You have completed the program. Thank you for your hard work.
11. Submitting post-completion reports and photos Participants will be required to submit a report summarizing the training content and their impressions, as well as photos of the training site.
12. Language Proficiency Tests (TOEIC, HSK, TOPIK, etc.) In order to determine your language level after participating in the training, you will be required to take a language proficiency test in the language used at the training site.
13. Follow-up training session They will present the assignments they were given before the trip. It is also an opportunity for them to discuss with the other students how they would like to utilize what they learned and experienced during their stay.
14.Return report session This is a place to look back on the training and introduce what you experienced there. It is a good opportunity for students who are aiming to study abroad in the future to hear the real voices of those who have had the training and to ask any questions they may have directly.
