When our Faculty of Global Studies was established, we focused on three areas: "working in the world" (foreign companies and Japanese companies stationed overseas, etc.), "working with the world" (work for a Japanese company dealing with overseas business partners, etc.), and "hospitality to the world" (work related to intercultural exchange such as tourism, international conferences, and the Tokyo Olympics, etc.), and have nurtured human resources who can excel in each of these fields.

Our university will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2028. Utilizing our experience in university management and our wide range of activities both nationally and locally, and based on our founding principles, we will continue to advance reforms with new ideas and strong enthusiasm to ensure that we remain a university that is needed and trusted by society, even beyond our 100th anniversary.
