At the 61st East Japan Bowling Championships, held from June 27th to 29th (Sun), Mr. Sato reported to President Miyazaki that he had won the championship match, breaking his own record for the first time in 12 years and setting a new tournament record. President Miyazaki offered words of encouragement and expectations for Mr. Sato's future, and also presented him with a sports scholarship.
