*What is the Business Contest Project?
By participating in business contests hosted by companies, students come into contact with real business issues, pursue practical and attractive proposals for those issues, and improve the overall skills required of business people. Specifically, students first gather information by analyzing the industry and business model, then develop a proposal and consider a logical structure to support it, and finally make a presentation that conveys their argument to the other party in an easy-to-understand way. Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration regularly provides information about the contest, and students who wish to participate are involved in the activities. Through this business contest project, faculty members work together to support students so that they can discuss with each other and deepen the content of their proposals.

Student comments

We felt that there was an issue with the lack of financial education in Japan in order to realize a sustainable society, and proposed an "investment simulation app." Along the way, there were disagreements among the members, but by thoroughly analyzing the current situation, we were able to find a clue that would lead to a solution. Through this experience, I was able to feel the importance and difficulty of communication, and "connection with society," and I think I was able to reconsider what kind of contribution I can make in the future, which will be the core of my job hunting.
